Generations & years
First generation 2026–present

Powertrain, battery & charging
Plug-in hybrid (three versions) and battery-electric (three versions) powertrains with the second-generation Blade Battery and standard flash charging; the EV is rated at up to 905 km CLTC. Rear-wheel steering is standard, giving a 4.95 m turning radius. About 5,150 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,505 mm tall on a 3,030 mm wheelbase.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The Seal 08 is a different, larger car than the Seal 06 and Seal 07, and it is not the Seal EV sedan from 2022. Plug-in hybrid and EV versions have different drivetrains, and an earlier Seal 08 registration filing turned out to be the Seal 06 EV. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
