Where to find the VIN

On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.

China-spec vs export-spec

The Datang (Great Tang or Da Tang) is a different, larger car than the Tang, Tang L (sold as Sealion 8 or Atto 8) and the Sealion 08. EV and plug-in hybrid versions have different drivetrains. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
