Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The M6 (2024) and eMAX 7 are the same car, the successor of the e6, and not the older BYD M6 from 2010 or the e6 itself. The M6 EV and the M6 DM plug-in hybrid have different drivetrains, and the two battery sizes give different power and charging limits. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
