Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
BYD uses the Seal name on several different cars, including the Seal EV sedan, Seal 05 DM-i, Seal 06 DM-i, Seal 06 EV, Seal 06 GT, Seal 07 and Seal 08, which do not share parts with each other. Sedan, wagon, DM-i and EV versions of the Seal 06 differ, and a second generation arrived in August 2026. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
