Chery's compact sedan, the 2021 facelift of the Arrizo GX (also called the Arrizo 6). Sold overseas as the Arrizo 6 Pro, the Omoda S5 in Russia and Kazakhstan, and the Omoda O5 in Mexico.
Generations & years
Arrizo GX 2018–2021
Debuted at the 2018 Beijing show as a more upmarket sedan based on the Arrizo 5. The Arrizo GX Pro name was introduced in June 2019.
Arrizo 5 Plus 2021–2025
Renamed Arrizo 5 Plus with the 2021 facelift, introduced in two variants (Xiao Ai and Ozawa). The sportier Arrizo 5 GT launched in September 2022. Exports continued as the Arrizo 6 and Arrizo 6 Pro.
Powertrain, battery & charging
The Arrizo GX Pro was reported with a 1.6 turbo engine. The export Arrizo 6 Pro, built on the M1X platform, is listed with a 1.5 turbo engine and a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The Arrizo 5 (earlier Arrizo EX, 2019 to 2020) is a different, smaller sedan. The Arrizo GX, Arrizo 5 Plus, Arrizo 6 and Arrizo 6 Pro are versions of the same family before and after the 2021 facelift, and the Arrizo 5 GT is a separate sporty variant, so confirm exactly which one you have.
