Where to find the VIN

On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.

China-spec vs export-spec

The ET9 is a different, larger car than the ET7 and ET5, and its 900 V system differs from the 400 V systems on earlier NIO cars, so high-voltage and charging parts do not cross over. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
