NIO's mid-size electric SUV and the first SUV on NIO's second-generation NT2.0 platform. Sold in Europe as the EL7 to avoid a name clash with Audi. Compatible with NIO's battery-swap stations.

Launched in 2022 with deliveries from 28 August 2022, priced from 468,000 yuan with the 75 kWh battery and 526,000 yuan with the 100 kWh battery.
Powertrain, battery & charging
Dual-motor electric drive with a silicon-carbide power module; 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.9 seconds. Battery options: 75 kWh (485 km CLTC), 100 kWh (620 km) and 150 kWh (over 850 km).
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The ES7 (EL7 in Europe) is a different car from the ES6 and ES8, which are on different platform generations in their first versions. Battery size (75, 100 or 150 kWh) changes the pack and range, and charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market.
