Where to find the VIN

On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.

China-spec vs export-spec

The first-generation EC6 (NT1.0), the later NT2.0 EC6 and the EC7 are different cars, so confirm the generation. Battery size changes the pack and range, and charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
