NIO's coupe-style electric SUV on the NT2.0 platform, positioned above the EC6 and launched in December 2022. It is related to the ES7.

First generation 2022–present
Launched on 24 December 2022 at NIO Day together with the refreshed ES8. It is described as the EC6 converted to NT2.0, and NIO's fastest-accelerating SUV with a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds.
Powertrain, battery & charging
Dual-motor electric drive on the NT2.0 platform, with 75 kWh and 100 kWh battery options at launch and a 150 kWh pack planned. NIO battery-swap compatible.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The EC7 is a different car from the older EC6 (NT1.0) and from the ES7, although it is related to the ES7. Battery size changes the pack, and charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
