Haval's compact SUV, offered as a five-seat plug-in hybrid from launch in 2023 and sold in the Middle East as the Haval V7. A longer Raptor Plus joined in 2026. The export name Haval H7 is also listed for it.
Generations & years
First generation 2023–2025
Regulatory filing with the code B26 in June 2023, official presentation in August 2023 with 145 km of electric range, and sales from October 2023 at about US$22,700. An ICE version was added in May 2025.
2026 model year 2025–present
The 2026 Raptor Hi4 launched on 19 August 2025 with a second-generation Hi4 system: a 1.5 turbo engine (GW4B15M) and dual motors rated at about 330 kW (443 hp) and 750 N·m, compared with 220 kW and 510 N·m for the 2024 car.
Raptor Plus 2026–present
A longer 5 to 7-seat Raptor Plus, a PHEV with the Hi4 powertrain, was added in May 2026.
Powertrain, battery & charging
The five-seat Raptor launched in 2023 exclusively as an all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid, with 145 km of electric range. Petrol versions are also listed. The 7-seat Raptor Plus is a Hi4 plug-in hybrid.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The Haval H7 name has been used for more than one car: the Raptor's export name, the second-generation Big Dog, and the older H7 (2015 to 2021). In the Middle East the Raptor is the Haval V7, so confirm the car with the VIN. The Raptor Plus is a longer, separate model. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
