MG ZS
China name: 名爵ZS · Export: ZS, ZS Hybrid+, ZS EV (EZS in China)
SAIC's subcompact SUV under the MG brand, announced at the 2016 Guangzhou Auto Show and positioned below the HS. A battery-electric ZS EV (EZS in China) has been offered since 2018.

Second generation 2024–present
Includes the ZS Hybrid+ (from September 2024 in some markets); launched in Pakistan July 2026. The ZS EV is succeeded by the MGS5 EV.
Powertrain, battery & charging
Petrol, including a SAIC/GM-developed three-cylinder turbo on the first generation. ZS Hybrid+: 1.5-litre petrol engine (75 kW) with a 100 kW traction motor and 1.83 kWh battery, 145 kW combined. ZS EV: battery-electric.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
Petrol, Hybrid+ and EV versions differ in powertrain, cooling and electrical parts; first- and second-generation bodies differ. Send the VIN. Check the charge-port standard on your car (China-spec GB/T vs export CCS2/Type 2) before ordering charging parts.
