A five-seat, unibody plug-in hybrid SUV from BYD's Fangchengbao brand, positioned between the Bao 5 and Bao 8. Sold overseas as the BYD Ti7 (also Tai 7), and possibly under the Denza name in some markets.
Generations & years
First generation 2025–present
Entered production as the fourth domestic Fangchengbao model. BYD filed the Ti7 name in Australia, it is expected to be sold as a BYD in the UK, and the larger Tai 7 has been introduced in Thailand and Costa Rica under the BYD brand.
Powertrain, battery & charging
Plug-in hybrid with BYD's DMS designation on a unibody platform, not the body-on-frame DMO platform of the Bao 5 and Bao 8. About 4,999 mm long, 1,995 mm wide and 1,865 mm tall on a 2,920 mm wheelbase, seating five.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The Ti7 (Tai 7) uses a unibody platform, so its parts do not carry across to the body-on-frame Bao 5 and Bao 8. Export names are still being decided in some markets, so the badge alone does not identify the car. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
