Introduced as Fangchengbao's entry-level product in China. It is launching in markets such as Thailand and Costa Rica as the Denza B3, and BYD has filed the B3 name in Australia.
Powertrain, battery & charging
Plug-in hybrid on a unibody platform, seating five. An earlier preview listed it at about 4,605 mm long, 1,900 mm wide and 1,720 mm tall on a 2,745 mm wheelbase.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The Tai 3 and Denza B3 are the same car. It uses a unibody platform, unlike the body-on-frame Bao 5 and Bao 8, so parts do not carry across. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
