GAC's large luxury hybrid MPV, called the Trumpchi E9 in China and the GAC M8 in export markets such as Australia, where it launched in November 2025. It has dual sliding doors and captain's chairs in the second row.

Sold in China as the Trumpchi E9. GAC confirmed it for Australia as the M8 for a November 2025 launch, alongside the Emzoom and the Aion V.
Powertrain, battery & charging
Hybrid powertrain pairing a 2.0 L turbo petrol engine (140 kW, 330 N·m) with a front electric motor (134 kW, 300 N·m) and a two-speed hybrid transmission. About 5,212 mm long, 1,893 mm wide and 1,823 mm tall on a 3,070 mm wheelbase.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The M8 and Trumpchi E9 are the same car, so the badge does not identify the parts. Older Trumpchi M8 and GM8 MPVs are different cars, so confirm the generation. Send the VIN.
