Compact petrol SUV on Geely's BMA platform (developed by Geely), sold in China as the Binyue and exported as the Coolray.

Binyue / Coolray 2018–present
Revealed Aug 2018 (first BMA-based crossover); first facelift Binyue Cool (2022, exported as the new/facelift Coolray from about 2023); second facelift Binyue L (Nov 2024). Export launches include Russia (Feb 2020) and the Philippines (2020; facelift Sept 2024).
Powertrain, battery & charging
1.5-litre turbo petrol with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox, FWD. Current export New Coolray: 1.5TD, 128 kW / 290 Nm.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
Pre- and post-facelift cars differ in lamps, bumpers and interior electronics. Engine and gearbox variants differ by market — send the VIN.
