On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The G7 is a different car from the G6 and G9, even though it is nearly the same length as the G9. Battery-electric and extended-range versions have different drivetrains, and the two battery sizes change the pack. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
