Where to find the VIN

On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.

China-spec vs export-spec

The i8 is a battery-electric SUV and is not related to the extended-range L-series cars (L6, L7, L8, L9) or the Mega MPV, so parts do not cross over. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
