Leapmotor's compact electric SUV, shown internationally in 2024, on pre-sale in China from 10 March 2025 and deliveries from 10 April 2025. It has since launched in Europe, Malaysia and South Africa.
Generations & years
First generation 2025–2026
Pre-sales began on 10 March 2025 and deliveries on 10 April 2025, with Europe due in late 2025, Malaysia on 10 December 2025 in Life (56.2 kWh) and Design (67.1 kWh) versions, and South Africa on 18 August 2026. The Malaysian car has been assembled locally since September 2026.
2027 model year 2026–present
An updated B10 with revised powertrains and minor changes was released in China on 16 July 2026.
Powertrain, battery & charging
Two rear-wheel-drive battery-electric powertrains on a 400 V architecture, with 56.2 kWh and 67.1 kWh batteries in Malaysia. The top trims have a 128-line LiDAR.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The B10 is a different, smaller car than the C10, and the 2027 model year changed the powertrains, so the build date matters. It is related to the A10 and B03X. Charging inlets differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
