Lepas L8
The first model of Chery's Lepas brand, the export version of the second-generation Tiggo 8. It rolled off the line in Wuhu in April 2025 and is sold in Indonesia as a plug-in hybrid.

First generation 2025–present
Lepas L8 production started in Wuhu in April 2025, leading a planned range of L2, L4, L6 and L8. It was shown at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia show, and the China-market second-generation Tiggo 8 is essentially the same model.
Powertrain, battery & charging
Indonesia's Lepas L8 is a plug-in hybrid based on a 1.5 L turbo engine with front-wheel drive.
Where to find the VIN
On most cars the VIN is visible at the base of the windscreen (driver side) and on a label in the driver-side door opening; check your registration document too.
China-spec vs export-spec
The Lepas L8 is the second-generation Chery Tiggo 8 (plug-in hybrid: Fulwin T8L), not the first-generation Tiggo 8, Tiggo 8 Plus or Tiggo 8 Pro, and not the Tiggo 8L, which is now the Tiggo 9X. Charging inlets on plug-in versions differ by market: China-spec cars use the GB/T standard and export versions are built for the destination market. Send the VIN.
